Our Reconnect and Revitalise walks combines ancient wisdom with modern practices, allowing you to ground yourself, find inner peace, and connect with the natural world via nature therapy. - Natural Navigation: Learn to navigate using natural cues—sun, wind, and landmarks. Rediscover the lost art of connecting with the Earth - just like our ancestors.
- Grounding Exercises: Feel the earth beneath your feet. Engage your senses—touch leaves, smell the soil, and listen to birdsong.
- Mindfulness Practices: Tune in to the present moment. Breathe deeply, observe nature’s beauty, and release stress.
- Holistic Well-Being: Align mind, body, and spirit. Let nature’s energy rejuvenate you.
What's Included:
- Guided Walk: Exploring local trails or green spaces across the Peak District in small groups. Learning from the expertise of your guide as you are shown natural navigation techniques that help us observe our natural surroundings.
- Grounding Rituals: With gentle guidance from your Nord-Essence coach you will connect to your 5 senses and reconnect to the natural environment around you. You can even collect natural treasures to take as a memento—a stone, a leaf, a flower—to carry with you. Observe, breathe, and let go. With guidance from your Nord-Essence coach you will practice mindfulness exercises you can take with you.
- Mindful Moments: We will take pauses at designated points along the route to allow you to immerse yourself in your environment, be it under the canopy of trees, by a babbling brook of water or the top of a hill where the wind can blow your worries away and you can be left in awe of the breath-taking views available on our doorstep.
